Hoots Ltd. works cooperatively with multiple stakeholder groups and government at all levels. Our consultation services include public engagement, planning and design workshops, alongside liaising with staff and interested parties to gain insight into the needs and concerns of the community, environmental considerations and sensitivities. This in turn helps guide meaningful and responsive project design. We also provide hands-on training & education for clients, staff and volunteers to learn about sustainable design, building and maintenance practices and become involved in bike facility development and care. We strive to assist communities in contributing towards local bike facility planning through our consultant services. In understanding the interests and concerns, we can shape appropriate and relevant design development that will benefit the community, and foster a sense of ownership. Working with volunteers and providing guidance and training in building and maintaining facilities, we can support local participation in their ongoing care with appreciation for long-term sustainability and best practices. As well, with our background experience and recognizing the value of community-building, we happily extend our services to work with local parties in helping lead ride clinics, host events, related programming and development activities!
