Overview

As stand-alone or part of a greater facility, our Pump Tracks house multiple ride lines and circuits to engage momentum, rhythm and flow through a variety of roller-berm combinations, transitions, crossovers and jump opportunities. Catering to different riding levels and users, our projects enable skills development for cornering, speed control and navigation within a safe, managed area. In terms of materials, we incorporate natural dirt and also work with our partners for paved options.

Dirt & Paved Facilities

Our dirt Pump Tracks are made of natural clay materials that are expertly shaped and compacted. We also appreciate paved surface options and work with local vendors and partners for specified, selected aggregates and asphalt finishing. Our unique facilities provide for progression and challenge with various sized riding features, depths and steepness to accommodate a range of skill levels and abilities, and platform deck(s) to gather and take off from. Expanding opportunity, our paved tracks welcome all types of wheeled activities with colourful finishing touches to demarcate ride line routes and options.

Planning & Community

We recognize the importance of engaging client and community in local development and sharing input towards design and programming; and providing opportunity for public / private partnerships, non-profit, volunteer and club involvement. Whether beginner or advanced level, small or large scale, our Pump Tracks enable riders to practice and challenge their bike handling skills within a fun, low-risk environment that embraces community interests. From public outreach and surveys to organized workshops, alongside carrying out professional consultation services, we work closely with the community to develop a responsive design that corresponds to the project criteria, budget, size and scope.

Design, Construction & Maintenance

Following our Hoots Ltd. guidelines and specifications, we ensure ‘Best Practices’ in design and construction with adherence to performance and safety standards while integrating with the landscape, natural features and existing setting. For all our Pump Tracks, we prepare As-Built Plans and a comprehensive Maintenance Manual with detailed procedures to monitor and manage the facility. And for many projects, we continue to be scheduled for regular maintenance services to ensure performance, long-term sustainability, and proper shaping / compaction and tune-up of features.
